כִּי יֹדֵעַ אֱלֹהִים כִּי בְּיֹום אֲכָלְכֶם מִמֶּנּוּ

"For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."   NASB

For God knows that on the day that you eat thereof, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like angels, knowing good and evil." Traditional Jewish Translation

3045 – 3047 – [dy – (ody) – yada – to know, (observation, care, recognition, instruction, designation, punishment.)

6491 – 6493 – xqp – (jqp) – paqach – to open, (be observant),  watch, (a name of a king), clearsighted, (intelligent).

5869 – 5871 – ny[ – (nyo) – ayin – an eye, a fountain.

For the Magistrates know, for in the day you eat it your eyes will be opened and be as intelligent as the magistrates, knowing good and evil.
