עַל־כֵּן יַֽעֲזָב־אִישׁ אֶת־אָבִיו וְאֶת־אִמֹּו

וְדָבַק בְּאִשְׁתֹּו וְהָיוּ לְבָשָׂר אֶחָֽד׃

For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. NASB

Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Traditional Jewish Translation

5800 –יַֽעֲזָב– ya-azab – to loosen, i.e. relinquish, permit.

376 – 377 –אִישׁ– iysh – a man, a male person; to be a man.

852 – 855 –אֶת– ath – A portent, (derived from 226) a sense of entity, prop. Self, used to point out more def. the object of a verb. Nearness, near; hence gen. with, by at, among, etc. a hoe or other digging implement.

Hence upon being loosened from his father and mother, a man must catch by pursuit a woman and become one body.
